Dr Tammie Ferringer 

Tammie Ferringer, MD

Dr. Ferringer is section head and fellowship director of dermatopathology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania where she also supervises resident clinics or sees patients 2 half-days per week.

Dr. Ferringer is currently on the board of directors of the American Society of Dermatopathology and American Board of Dermatology.  She has served on, or chaired, several committees of the AAD, APD, ABD, ASDP, ISDP, ACGME, and ABP. Her current editorial roles include Assistant editor of JAAD and Associate editor of Cutis. She has directed or moderated over twenty-five courses or sessions and been invited speaker for more than 120 domestic and international lectures on a variety of topics, including infectious disease and immunohistochemistry.  Her current literary contributions include over 70 journal articles or textbook chapters, co-editor of a dermatopathology textbook, and co-author of an online and mobile dermatopathology application.

 

Dr Alistair Robson

Dr Alistair Robson

Dr. Alistair Robson is a qualified general (FRCPath) and specialist dermatopathologist (DipRCPath), and was Consultant Dermatopathologist at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’ Hospital, London, for 14 years. The Institute is of international standing and a significant fraction of its workload is difficult tertiary referral material, both in the form of patients and histopathology slides. Alistair was the pathology lead for cutaneous lymphoma and continues to be an active member of the EORTC cutaneous lymphoma pathology working group.

He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals, reviews dermatopathology papers for numerous journals, including Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, for which he is part of the Editorial Board, Journal of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology & Scientific Reports, amongst others. He has over 15 years’ experience of teaching dermatopathology to both dermatologists and pathologists, including the Kings College MSc course, organises teaching seminars in the UK and abroad, and is Chief Examiner for the dermatopathology section of the Asian Academy of Dermatology.

He is a co-founder and organiser of the International London Dermatopathology Symposium and a co-founder and for 5 years co-organiser and teacher on the UK ABC Course in Dermatopathology.

He has been an invited speaker and presented research in the UK, elsewhere in Europe, the United States, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Egypt, Malaysia, India and Australia. He is currently a Visiting Pathologist at the Lisbon Institute of Oncology, Portugal, and a Consultant Dermatopathologist for the specialist private UK pathology company LDPath Group.
