Dr Lori Lowe
Dr. Lowe is Professor of Dermatology and Pathology and Senior Dermatopathologist at the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, Michigan with over 27 years of experience. She served as the Director of Dermatopathology from 1997-2012. Dr. Lowe is active in clinical service, teaching, and academic pursuits. She has published over 130 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at more than 100 domestic and international meetings. Dr. Lowe was the recipient of the Outstanding Clinician of the Year Award from the University of Michigan in 2013 and the 2013 Walter Nickel Teaching Award from the American Society of Dermatopathology. In addition, she was inducted into The League of Clinical Excellence at Michigan Medicine in 2015. She has been recognised in numerous publications as one of the best in her field, including The Best Doctors in America every year since 2001. Dr. Lowe has served on national committees for the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Pathology, and the American Society of Dermatopathology. She has also served for more than a decade on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Cancer. Throughout her career, Dr. Lowe has helped train over 500 residents and 24 fellows to date.
Dr Steven Billings
Dr. Steven Billings completed his pathology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Following residency he completed a fellowship in soft tissue pathology. Upon completion of his post graduate studies, he joined the faculty at Indiana University, where he practiced for several years. In 2007 he joined the faculty at the Cleveland Clinic where he serves as co-director of the dermatopathology section and is a Professor of Pathology. His research interests are in dermatopathology and soft tissue pathology with a special emphasis on cutaneous soft tissue tumors. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed articles, numerous invited reviews and book chapters, and co-authored a book on inflammatory dermatopathology.
